Meditative, dark, and vivid, 'Geograph' is the second album from Subviolet Records label head Kaelin Bougneit under his own name.

Each piece on 'Geograph' was assembled in Ableton Live with minimal editing and overdubs. Relying on a backbone of granulated nature recordings and free improvisation on guitar and synth (inspired by Indian ragas and generative microtonal drones), each track flows with living energy like the nature it attempts to illustrate. As a result, the pieces on 'Geograph' are perhaps best thought of in terms of color and topography - orange and blue/sand and sky, green and black/foliage and shadow.
